STORY
1:1 is a parable in sound: from silence to creation, from fall to forgiveness, from love to covenant, from temptation to choice, and finally to eternity.
It begins in silence. Noir de Noir (1) sets the scene in the desert — vast, empty, waiting. There is nothing yet, only stillness before the first word, the first spark.
2. In the Beginning (2) brings light. Creation awakens, and with it, a soul opens its eyes. This is both the dawn of the world and the dawn of a man’s life.
But the first temptation arrives quickly. Forbidden Fruit (3) tastes of curiosity, the pull of desire that hides consequences.
No Talk (4) and Take Am (5) follow with restless energy — the voice of a heart chasing what it craves, running further and further into the shadows.
The breaking point comes in Lost (6). The soul is swallowed by emptiness. Yet into that night a voice appears: Here I Am (7). Steady, unshaken, divine. It is followed by
Forgive Me (8), the cry of repentance, raw and trembling.
From this turning point, the search deepens. My Love (9) and Day & Night (10) are not only love songs but the heartbeat of the psalmwave vibe: tracks on intimacy, trust, purpose, and faith. They capture the neon glow of a soul trying to anchor itself, wrestling with love in its many forms — divine and human at once.
Glow in the Dark (11), Foundation (12), and The Father (13) anchor this growth further. Here the character learns to walk in trust, to build upon something unshakable, to root himself in purpose.
By Locked Into the Vine (14), the bond is sealed: life connected, nourished, held. And in that moment of fullness, a new gift comes — the gift of true love.
From Velvet Flame to The Marriage Night, the album blooms into human love.
In Velvet Flame (15), the man sings of her beauty, seeing her as more than outward charm — a light, a treasure, his blessing.
In No Cap (16), the woman replies, describing him with honesty, purpose and admiration, declaring why he is the one she has chosen.
In My Queen (17), the man, as king, names her as his queen, a spiritual covenant of love and devotion.
Then comes The Marriage Night (18), where joy and passion reach their peak. But within their celebration, a dream interrupts. God speaks, not to condemn, but to prepare: seven trials will come. Not enemies from without, but alter egos from within. Shadows of themselves that will test the covenant they have made.
The seven sins arrive, each one a mirror:
- LUST – Come Closer (19) whispers seduction.
- GREED – Got It All (20) chants of endless gain.
- PRIDE – Genius (21) exalts the self.
- ENVY – Fuck It, It’s Mine (22) covets what belongs to others.
- GLUTTONY – Take the Bite, Eve (23) cries for more and more without end.
- WRATH – No Feelings (24) breaks with anger and wounds with words.
- SLOTH – Yesterday (25) sinks into apathy, longing for what is gone.
After seven shadows, all is quiet again. Heaven or Hell (26) stands at the crossroads — the ultimate question repeated, the weight of choice pressing close.
And finally, Book of Life (27). No words, only piano, fluid and timeless, with the hum of the city behind it. Earth and eternity fuse in sound.
The name is written. The story is complete.
MESSAGE
Life is a journey — a mirror of creation, fall, redemption, love, trial, and eternity.
Every soul begins in innocence, wanders into desire, is lost, and yet is always called back by grace.
Love becomes covenant, covenant is tested, and the greatest battles are not fought against the world but against the shadows within.
Through the seven alter egos of sin, the album reveals that temptation is never far away — it lives inside us, seductive and familiar.
But even in weakness, every moment is an invitation to choose again: light or dark, self or love.
We were created on purpose and for a purpose: to be loved, to love, and to rise above what breaks us — so that our story can move toward wholeness, hope, and life.
NEON PSALMWAVE
1:1 introduces a signature new sound: Neon Psalmwave — rooted in neon-noir R&B, 80’s-inspired synth textures, and electro-soul atmospheres.
Yet Neon Psalmwave is more than a style — it is a language. It speaks through rap when the story sharpens, through dance/electronic when the pulse rises, through acoustic strings when the heart reflects, even through classical silence when words fall away. Always true to its identity, yet never bound, Neon Psalmwave listens first to the story and bends itself to serve it.
It is music for the night, but also for the soul: universal yet deeply personal, modern yet timeless.
Always circling the same pulse — light and shadow in tension, desire and devotion colliding, the eternal glowing inside the modern.
Each chapter of the 1:1 album bends sound to serve the story:
- Instrumentals open and close the record, minimal and spacious, like prayers without words.
- 80’s synthwave textures set the stage for creation, temptation, and inner struggle.
- Late-night R&B gives voice to loneliness, intimacy, and longing.
- Rap delivers the raw edge of confession, ego, and the seven alter egos of sin.
- Afro-inspired grooves embody seduction, fire, and the dance between desire and choice.
- Acoustic guitar songs provide timeless moments of reflection, like pages torn from a diary.
- Electronic dance lift certain passages into euphoric release, echoing the tension between flesh and spirit.
- Classical piano closes the album with stillness, a light beyond time.
Neon Psalmwave is more than a genre — it is a parable in sound, a way of telling stories where spirit and street, heaven and earth, longing and light all meet.
